Don Fotsch Professional Bio
Don Fotsch is a senior product executive, with General Manager experience. He’s a serial entrepreneur whose obsession is blending first hand customer insights with the limitless potential of technology and the internet to create phenomenal customer experiences worth talking about.
Don is currently Chief Product Officer for and Advisor to Green House Energy Management, a green startup in stealth mode.
Don is no stranger to invention and innovation with category leading companies and brands, having spent over 20 years defining and delivering breakthrough products to global audiences including PayPal’s category creating Mobile Student Account, PayPal’s industry leading checkout and payments experience, AOL for Broadband, Comcast.com online sales channel Redesign, the award winning 3Com Audrey, the industry’s first 56k modem at USRobotics and the Apple Power Macintosh line.
His passion for innovation is equally balanced across breakthrough products/services and operating discipline. At PayPal, where Don was most recently Vice President of Product Management & Design, his team freed up millions of dollars for accelerated product improvement investment by overhauling web site Self Help (Global Content Rewrite, Digital Chat Agent, Customer Forums) within a robust “end to end” Customer Experience Framework. This work eliminated support calls and drove up NPS (Net Promoter Score), a key Customer Experience metric.
Don is regularly found evangelizing the importance of innovation in large organizations or espousing the benefits of the latest breakthrough product launch he’s been consumed by.

Don and his wife Kate are avid runners and energetic parents to their children in the heart of Silicon Valley. Don has an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering degree with honors from Marquette University and a Masters in Management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
